Nun’s Valley with its interesting history and Pico Arieiro with beautiful views around the Island at 1818 mts of altitude.
Starting in Funchal, our first stop will be Pico dos Barcelos, at this point we have an excellent view over the city of Funchal. Afterwards, we will visit the famous Nun’s Valley (Nun’s hidden convent) well known by its history and unique location, isolated from any other city or village.
Then we go to the majestic Pico do Arieiro (1818 mts) where we can appreciate magnificent landscapes and its breathtaking views over the north and south coast of the island, Ponta de São Lourenço and Paul da Serra.
Finally, the last stop is at Parque Ribeira Primeira in Santo da Serra, the heart of a Laurissilva forest.
